Review submitted 4/10/12 by James Field

Many an exciting story has been written about the Holy Crusades which transpired in Europe between the years 1095 and 1270. David Amburgey's novel, 'All because of War', adds to these stories and looks to the future where his tale begins in the year 2028.

All Arab nations unite under one leader to become a super-power with the ambition not only to conquer Israel, but also the entire world. America is reluctantly drawn into a new crusade, the outcome of which will decide the age old conflict once and for all.

The new nation, 'Arabia', has developed superior technologies in the fields of defence and genetics. One man, Will Levings, discovers their secrets and holds the key to sway the war in the allies favour – if only he could escape from a brutal war camp where the only way out is death…

Alas, the book publisher's editors and proof readers need their fingers slapped for shoddy work. There is room for improvement here, which is a shame, because it spoilt my enjoyment somewhat.

None the less, for those who enjoy fast paced war adventures, spiced with political intrigue and conspiracy in the White House, this action packed thriller is well worth reading.
