Title: Restored Hope
Genre: Fiction
Pages: 274
Synopsis:
Peter and Tara Miller are the image of perfection. They have three beautiful children, live in a wonderful neighborhood, and are still each other’s best friend. When their world completely disintegrates within a short period of time, their daughter must survive the aftermath. Creating a new persona Samantha finally breaks free and discovers that the real world is not much kinder than her dysfunctional family. Emotionally shattered, the solace of the ocean, and a loving dog, carry her on her way.
Samantha meets Timothy Bleak, who was raised in a seemingly kind, loving family, but is virtually invisible to them. His voice goes unheard, his needs are unmet, and his emotions are squashed. Timothy summons the strength to leave his family, and discovers Samantha in his journey.
Restored Hope follows these two bereft young people as their lives intertwine and they face the challenges of life, love and happiness together.

Restored Hope
by Author Brenda Youngerman
Review by Dina Rae
Ms. Youngerman tells a tragic tale about the life of her main character, Samantha, who grows up in an environment of death, neglect, and despair. The book chronicles her life from birth to old age. Sam loses everyone she loves as a child and young woman. Despite the brutal hand Sam has been given, she still finds reasons to keep on living. Before finding Prince Charming, she carved a niche for herself in her career. Once she falls in love, she gets an even bigger family than she could have hoped for. She proves her value in seeing things other family members do not. The author drew me in from the first page, making me laugh and cry throughout the chapters. If only we all could be as positive as Sam. She is a shining example of how happiness can find you when you least expect it. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all women who at one time or another thought of giving up.
