Title: There Is Something Wrong with Jackie
Genre: Supernatural Suspense Thriller
Pages: 353
Synopsis:
Lee London knows in the deepest, darkest recesses of her mind that she was
raped and left barren by a psychopathic serial rapist. She suffers dissociative
amnesia until jagged fragments of memory jolt through her mind like lightning.
As she fights her way out of emotional hell, she fights for life and justice.
Stalked by the same madman years later, she is no longer the terrorized girl
with the wounded spirit and shattered soul. The crazed psychopath searches for
Lee, but abducts and kills Amy Bannerman - and the haunting begins.
Lee London becomes a woman able to love; she achieves her dream of becoming a
journalist, and becomes a survivor. Lee's love for children is great, and she
and her husband adopt some of life's littlest victims. Lee London believes in
an eye-for-an-eye, and brings final justice to those predators that so richly
deserve it.

Title: There Is Something Wrong with Jackie
Author: Deanna Lee Warren
Publish America, 351 Pages
There Is Something Wrong with Jackie by Deanna Lee Warren weaves a tale of abuse, abandonment, victimization and bravery. Lee London is brutally attacked when she is a teenager and blocks that memory for years only to have recurring nightmares that haunt her sleep. The psychopath that attacked her has preyed on many helpless girls and women and yet he seems to evade capture effortlessly.
Ms. Warren crafts a fast-moving narrative that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, turning page after page hoping for a positive outcome. She beautifully describes familial love and understanding, as well as emotionally unavailable family members. There are no stones left unturned in this book. Rape, torture and abuse are all there and the aftermath and healing process are discussed as well.
Deanna Lee Warren is a master story teller and the reader will have a difficult time putting the book down until the last page is turned.
